A former "6 week body makeover" and now a Planner, displaced and looking for a new home on the Planners board after the other board closed down.

Ok, here goes..........Our new home. They don't have a thumbs up smiley or some of the others. I wonder if this place will work from our iPads??? Hmmm, I tried highlighting the whole thing and making the font bigger, but that didn't work. There's definitely going to be a learning curve. At least we're on the right board now!

Great you found me Limited smileys but if that's the worst...
Pictures have to have a link, like on the provida board, no browse from your computer. You right - look on the bright side, we have a home again.
I popped out tot he markets and the only decent lettuce I could find was iceberg , they were out of butternut squash, I should have stocked up last time. I did however find hempseed at the health food store. Now I need to look for recipes. I'll try this on my iPad next..

Our iPads work, too? We may learn to love this site!!! I tried to see if there was a way to get an e-mail notification. Let me know if you find it.
Too bad about the butternut squash. I'm glad you found the hemp seed. Hope it wasn't as expensive as it was here. I can't even remember the last time I put iceberg lettuce in one of my salads, but if that's all you can find, it's better than nothing, right?
I was working on my list. I went out and got the mail and newspaper. The grocery ads that start tomorrow are in today's paper. I didn't see anything I couldn't live without. I have to go to Salina tomorrow to return the tops I got at Walmart awhile back. I forgot to take them in last Friday when we went there and then we were running late and I didn't go back in with them. I need to download the last of the family cruise pics on Judi's computer tomorrow, too. I don't want to be gone all day. I only have a few basics on my list - tomatoes, zucchini, etc.
Today hasn't been according to the book, but I've only been eating what I've passed. My snacks were 2 lemons and 2 servings of chips. I figure the lemons ought to be good for a cleanse and the chips to help with the sea salt I put on the lemons. It's worked in the past. We'll see. My ring is loose, again, but it always is in the afternoon.
I'm thinking I'll let Dave have the chicken parm for dinner and I'll just put some chicken on a salad.
It feels so nice to be back posting!!!!

I think I found the notification thing. I had bookmarked this thread (at least I think I did) and then I set it to send me an e-mail when someone posts on here. We'll see!!

I forgot to tell you that my sister, who had been on the cruise with me, noticed yesterday that I had lost even more weight!

It's a bit of a learning curve . I managed to find a picture under 1MB to upload. Most of my pictures are taken by DH and the file is too big, of course I have no idea how to change that...
I went to your profile and clocked on "follow" so now I should get an e-mail every time you post on here. At least I think so... that learning curve thing again..
Your snack sounds great, darn now I'm craving the chips I had half an apple with chunky raw almond butter.
How great that your sister noticed you lost weight! I'm having a hard time finding pants that fit nicely - everything is baggy, even stuff I used to wear at this weight 5 years ago. I seems to have lost more inches around my hips So maybe going on a trip isn't such a bad thing?

It worked!! I got an e-mail saying you posted. Uh, oh, we don't have a "party" smiley face. Darn.
What a problem to have. Clothes being too big! I want mine to be bigger. I probably have plenty in the closet that fits. If I get small enough that they don't, then, I'll go shopping. In the meantime, it's purses and earrings, instead of clothes!
Sorry I made you crave chips.
Dave's home. Time to fix dinner.

How cool is that?? I got an e-mail too. I think I'm going to like this board.. I know.. what a problem to have.. It is if you can't go shopping for smaller ones I have jeans and shorts that fit but most my capris and bermudas are baggy. I could wear skirts and dresses instead, right?
Have a great evening!

Walmart and Sams don't have clothes down there? If you lose enough, you might have to have a Tucson trip just to shop!
Dinner was good. I did have enough of the tomato topping for us both to have the chicken parm. I served the rest of the leftover cooked spaghetti squash (still have half uncooked) and I cooked some carrots. It was all very good. I have one piece of chicken left for salad. Dessert was 2 squares of Dove dark with almonds. I'm full, so I must still be full from yesterday. I just hope it was enough to lose some of this bloat!
Enjoy your evening. We're watching DWTS from last night. Not sure if we'll do the results show tonight, but we probably will. I could go to bed early.

Your dinner sounds good. Mine is in the oven and just about ready. Chicken and timbale. I used herbed goat cheese in the timbale and spicy olive oil drizzled over it. I think I'll just have that and no salad, I'm still full from lunch.
I hope your bloat will be gone tomorrow - your eating has been good today , so you should lose at least some if not most of it.
We watched DWTS last night, some of them are really good. We'll be watching CBS tonight (NCIS) and I'll catch the last 2 minutes of the results show - it's all a big rehash anyway.
Have a great evening!

Did you see who went home on DWTS??? I wonder what the results would have been, otherwise.
I'm down 1.2 this morning!!! I'm still up 3 full pounds from my low of 140.6, but that's a big improvement over yesterday morning. I will eat well, again, today and try to be down more tomorrow.
How was your dinner? The mention of timbale reminded me of the timbale lasagna we had talked about. That sounds good. I really need to check my stock of zucchini and everything before going to the store. I know I have plenty of carrots. I've been buying 5 pound bags of them since starting this plan!!!
I'm just running some errands this morning, that's the plan, anyway. I need to go to Walmart and return a few things after lunch and get the rest of the pics to Judi to put on her computer. Then, it's home. I don't want an all afternoon Salina trip today.
I better look in the book and see what I'm supposed to eat today. I know it's protein test day, but with me still being bloated, I'm not sure a test would be accurate. I mean, I might lose bloat, yet react to a new protein at the same time and it could cancel each other out. I might think I didn't react when I did. Does that make sense?

WooHoo - That's a lot of bloat gone, another couple of friendly days and it will all be gone. She does say not to test when you still have inflammation, so sticking with friendly foods is probably a good idea. You have plenty of proteins to chose from
I did catch the last few minutes of DWTS and I was sorry to see her go, so much potential but she was right, no sense in damaging something.
Dinner was good and we ate the whole dish of timbale between us.. It took longer to prepare than it did to eat it The chicken turned out a little saltier than before, I must have used more of the poultry seasoning this time. Still my weight was exactly the same again.. Seems I have got maintaining off to a fine art
I forgot to answer your question about clothing in Sams and Walmart. Yes, they have clothes but it's low quality for high prices and unless I'm getting really desperate I'm going to wait as I do have stuff that's still halfway decent looking. Funny thing last night - I could pull my denim capris down without undoing the button or the zip. My hips and butt are shrinking! I think that's what they call a NSV (non scale victory) at Spark people.
Not sure what I'm doing today... Have a great to Salina!

You're doing good! Don't you love it when your pants come off like that? Some of my capris and shorts in the too big pile were like that. Love it!!!
I'm not going to test today. I at least want to get closer to my low first. I guess that means as many friendly days as it takes. I still haven't heard if there is going to be a bowling party Saturday night or if we're going to Dave's big (extended) family pot luck on Easter. I wouldn't be surprised. That would be about the time I get the rest of the bloat off.
I'm having a lemon now - for some reason I think that helps. Lunch is broccoli soup and maybe a salad. Not sure on that or what dinner will be. I guess that will depend on what time I get home from Salina. The plan is to go right over and right back. It took me 2 tries to remember everything I was going to do here in town this morning and I only needed to make 3 stops, all within a block of each other.
